To launch the competitive entrance examination into the 1st year of the part-time training Engineering course, at the National Higher Polytechnic School of Douala (NHPSD) of the University of Douala, and to specify the number of places available for the academic year 2024/2025.

Mindful of the constitution;
Mindful of law N°2023/004 of 25 July 2023 on the orientation of Higher Education;
Mindful of decree N°2011/408 of 09 December 2011 to organize the government;
Mindful of decree N°2011/410 of 09 December 2011 to appoint members of government;
Mindful of Decree N°93/026 of 19 January 1993 creating Universities;
Mindful of Decree N°93/027 of 19 January 1993 to define provisions common to Universities, modified and completed by the decree N°2005/342 of 10 September 2005;
Mindful of decree N°93/030 of 19 January 1993 to fix the administrative and academic organization of the University of Douala;
Mindful of decree N°93/032 of 19 January 1993 to fix the financial regime applicable to universities;
Mindful of decree N°2012/433 of 01 October 2012 to organize the ministry of Higher Education;
Mindful of decree N°2015/398 of 27 august 2019 to appoint the Universities vice chancellor and Rectors;
Mindful of decree N°2020/303 of 08 June 2020 to appoint officials in some state universities;
Mindful of decree N° 2015/398 of 15 September 2015 to appoint officials at the ministry of higher education
Mindful of decree N° 202/272 of 11 may 2020 to fix the transformation of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering into the National Higher School of Polytechnic of Douala;
Mindful of Decision n°18240028/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of 14 February 2024 to organize the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into Faculties, Schools and institutions of Cameroon state Universities for 2024/2025 academic year.
DECIDES:
Article 1: (1) The public is hereby informed that a competitive entrance examination for the recruitment of three hundred (300) students into the first year of part-time training engineering course of the National Higher Polytechnic School of Douala (NHPSD) of the University of Douala has been launched for the 2024/2025 academic year, at the unique center of Douala.
(2) The written examination consists of two papers, Mathematics and Physics of three (03) hours duration each and of equal importance.
Article 2: The competitive entrance examination is open to:
- Students preparing Baccalaureate of series C, D, E, IT, F and BT;
- Students from Upper Sixth science offering at least two of the following subjects: Pure Mathematics, Physics and Further Mathematics, and GCE-O/L in at least four (04) subjects (excluding religious knowledge)
