REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PEACE – WORK – FATHERLAND
DECREE No. 2020/531 OF 03 SEPT 2020 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the DEUTSCHE BANK, a Loan Agreement guaranteed by US EXIM BANK for an amount of USD 5 million, or approximately CFAF 3 billion, for the financing of feasibility studies and design of the Project for the Rehabilitation and Extension of the Capacity of the Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution System for Buea, Tiko and Mutenguene
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Ordinance No. 2020/1 of 3 June 2020 to amend and supplement some provisions of Law No. 2019/23 of 24 December 2019: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2020 financial year;
Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to reorganize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018,
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: The Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development is authorized, with powers of delegation, to sign with the DEUTSCHE BANK, a Loan Agreement guaranteed by US EXIM BANK for an amount of USD 5 million, or approximately CFAF 3 billion, for the financing of feasibility studies and design of the Project to rehabilitate and extend the capacity of the drinking water treatment and distribution system for Buea, Tiko and Mutenguene.
ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
