to ratify Loan Agreement No. 72130-CM for an amount of USD 300 million, or approximately CFAF 189.2 billion, concluded on 20 November 2023 between the Republic of Cameroon and the International Development Association (IDA), for the financing of the Local Governance and Resilient Communities Project
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution
Mindful of Law No. 2023/019 of 19 December 2023: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2024 financial year;
Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018,
Mindful of Decree No. 2023/359 of 22 August 2023 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the International Development Association (IDA), a loan agreement for an amount of USD 300 million; or approximately CFAF 189.2 billion, for the financing of the Local Governance and Resilient Communities Project.
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1: Loan Agreement No. 72130-CM for an amount of USD 300 million, or approximately CFAF 189.2 billion concluded on 20 November 2023 between the Republic of Cameroon and the International Development Association (IDA), for the financing of the Local Governance and Resilient Communities Project, is ratified.
Article 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
