RésuméCe décret fixe les montants et conditions de paiement des indemnités accordées au personnel de recherche des institutions publiques de recherche au Cameroun. Il établit des barèmes mensuels pour l'indemnité de recherche et l'indemnité de compétence technique selon les grades. Il abroge les dispositions antérieures contraires, notamment le décret n°80/275 du 18 juillet 1980. Le décret sera enregistré, publié selon la procédure d'urgence et inséré au Journal Officiel en anglais et en français.

# THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 92/007 of 14 August 1992 on the Labour Code;

Mindful of Law No. 2018/011 of 11 July 2018 to lay down the Cameroon Code of Transparency and Good Governance in public finance management;

Mindful of Law No. 2018/012 of 11 July 2018 relating to the fiscal regime of the State and other public entities;

Mindful of Decree No. 78/484 of 9 November 1978 to lay down the common provisions applicable to State employees governed by the Labour Code, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 82/100 of 3 March 1982;

Mindful of Decree No. 94/199 of 7 October 1994 to lay down the General Rules and Regulations of the Public Service, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2000/287 of 12 October 2000;

Mindful of Decree No. 2023/337 of 8 August 2023 to lay down special rules and regulations governing research personnel,

# HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: This decree lays down the amount and conditions of payment of allowances granted to research personnel in public research institutions.

ARTICLE 2: The research allowance shall be paid monthly as follows:

ARTICLE 3: The technical proficiency allowance shall be paid monthly as follows:

40 000 CFAF 30 000 CFAF

ARTICLE 4: All previous provisions repugnant hereto, in particular those of Decree No. 80/275 of 18 July 1980 to lay down the rules and regulations of researchers, are hereby repealed.

ARTICLE 5: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
