REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PEACE-WORK-FATHERLAND

DECREE No. 2026/035 OF 29 JAN 2026 to ratify loan Agreements No. 2000200006851 for an amount of EUR 130 230 000, or approximately CFAF 85.42 billion, and No. 2100150044946 for an amount of UoA 4 690 000, or approximately CFAF 3.61 billion, concluded on 17 September 2025 with the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, to finance the Capacity Building and Skills Development Programme for Employability and Entrepreneurship in the Far-North Region of Cameroon (CAP2E)

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 2024/013 of 23 December 2024: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2025 financial year, as amended and supplemented by Ordinance No. 2025/001 of 11 July 2025;

Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2013/190 of 2 March 2018;

Mindful of Decree No. 2025/376 of 31 July 2025 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the African Development Bank (AfDB), a loan Agreement for an amount of EUR 136 million, or approximately CFAF 95 billion, to finance the Capacity Building and Skills Development Programme for Employability and Entrepreneurship in the Far-North Region of Cameroon (CAP2E),

HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: Loan Agreements No. 2000200006851 for an amount of EUR 130 230 000, or approximately CFAF 85.42 billion, and No. 2100150044946 for an amount of UoA 4 690 000, or approximately CFAF 3.61 billion, concluded on 17 September 2025 with the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, to finance the Capacity Building and Skills Development Programme for Employability and Entrepreneurship in the Far-North Region of Cameroon (CAP2E), are ratified.

ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
