RésuméCette loi autorise le Président de la République du Cameroun à ratifier l'accord de coopération bilatérale avec la Guinée équatoriale pour l'exploitation de champs pétroliers et gaziers transfrontaliers. L'accord a été signé à Yaoundé le 17 mars 2023. La loi prévoit son enregistrement et sa publication selon la procédure d'urgence au Journal Officiel en anglais et en français.

TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC TO RATIFY THE BILATERAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA FOR THE EXPLOITATION OF CROSS-BORDER OIL AND GAS FIELDS, SIGNED IN YAOUNDE, ON 17 MARCH 2023

The Parliament deliberated and adopted, the President of the Republic hereby enacts the law set out below:

SECTION 1: The President of the Republic is hereby authorized to ratify the bilateral cooperation agreement between the Government of the Republic of Cameroon and the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea for the exploitation of cross-border oil and gas fields, signed in Yaounde on 17 March 2023.

SECTION 2: This law shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French./-
