Ce décret du Premier ministre camerounais transforme plusieurs Government Technical Colleges (GTC) en Government Technical High Schools (GTHS) dans les régions du Centre, de l'Extrême-Nord, du Nord, de l'Ouest, du Sud et du Sud-Ouest. La transformation prend effet à la date de signature. L'ouverture effective des établissements transformés sera fixée par arrêté du ministre de l'Enseignement secondaire. Le décret sera enregistré, publié et inséré au Journal Officiel en français et en anglais.

Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of law n°98/004 of 14 April 1998 to lay down guidelines for education in Cameroon; Mindful of law n°2019/024 of 24 December 2019 to lay down general code of decentralized territorial communities; Mindful of decree n°92/089 of 04 may 1992 to specify the powers and duties of the Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented by decree n°95/145 bis du 04 august 1995; Mindful of decree n°2008/376 of 12 November 2008 on the administrative organization of the Republic of Cameroon; Mindful of decree n°2011/408 of 09 december 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by decree n°2018/190 du 02 march 2018; Mindful of decree n°2012/267 of 11 June 2012 to organize the Ministry of Secondary Education; Mindful of decree n°2019/001 of 27 January 2019 to appoint the Prime Minister, Head of Government; Mindful of decree n°2023/223 of 27 April 2023 to lay down conditions governing the exercise of some powers devolved by the State upon regions in the area of secondary education,
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. - As from the date of signature of this decree, the following Government Technical Colleges are transformed to Government Technical High Schools:
