ORDER No. 078 /CAB/PM OF 19 AOUT 2020 TO APPROVE AND GIVE EFFECT TO THE NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR EMERGENCIES OF INTERNATIONAL CONCERN IN THE CIVIL AVIATION SECTOR IN CAMEROON.
THE PRIME MINISTER, HEAD OF GOVERNMENT,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of the Convention on International Civil Aviation signed on 7 December 1944 in Chicago and ratified by Cameroon on 15 January 1960;
Mindful of the International Health Regulations (IHR), approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on 23 May 2007, which entered into force on 15 June 2007;
Mindful of Law No. 86/016 of 6 December 1986 to lay down the general reorganisation of civil protection in Cameroon;
Mindful of Law No. 2013/010 of 24 July 2013 on the civil aviation regime in Cameroon;
Mindful of Decree No. 92/089 of 4 May 1992 to specify the duties of the Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 95/145-a of 4 August 1995;
Mindful of Law No. 98/031 of 9 March 1998 to organise emergency relief plans in cases of disasters and major risks;
Mindful of Decree No.2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organise the government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018;
Mindful of Decree No. 2019/001 of 4 January 2019 to appoint the Prime Minister, Head of Government;
Mindful of Decree No. 2019/174 of 9 April 2019 to lay down the reorganisation and functioning of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority,

# Hereby orders as follows:
Article 1.- This order approves and gives effect to the National Public Health Management Plan for Emergencies of International Concern in the civil aviation sector in Cameroon, annexed hereto.
Article 2.- The National Public Health Management Plan for Emergencies of International Concern in the civil aviation sector in Cameroon describes measures that should be implemented before, during and after a public health emergency of international concern.
Article 3.- The provisions of the National Public Health Management Plan for Emergencies of International Concern in the civil aviation sector in Cameroon shall apply to all international airports of Cameroon, all public administrations, and all public, parapublic and private bodies and enterprises involved in the air transport chain in Cameroon.
Article 4.- The ministers concerned shall use, where appropriate, the enabling instruments of this Order.
Article 5.- The annex of this Order shall constitute an integral part of it.
ARTICLE 6.- This Order shall be registered, published according to procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
